The project involves the refurbishment and extension of five Victorian hospital buildings with a number of additional buildings in Upton Village, Newham.

The aim is to create a new residential neighbourhood with apartments and houses of mixed kinds and sizes. Our design focuses on the incredible potential of the street as a social place. It integrates different types of gardens from public green spaces and large family gardens to smaller winter gardens for the apartments.
